definitely taking a break

I am taking an extended break from making and selling tasty treats for several reasons. I hope this will change before too long and I'll be able to get back to getting creative in the kitchen! In the meantime here's a picture of one reason I'm cutting back!

taking a break - sorta

I've recently taken on additional responsibilities at church (and am continuing to work full time through my pregnancy) so unfortunately I have to cut back on large orders. However, I am still willing to take small orders, so if you are interested in anything please still free to contact me. My schedule fluctuates from week to week, and most weeks I may be able to accommodate a small order. Thanks!

missionary farewell cookies

I'm LDS, and most of the 19-year old young men in our church give up two years of their young lives to travel far from their families and share the gospel. The farewell for these missionaries is a bittersweet event; one that brings families together, who are all simultaneously happy and sad to see their loved one off. I was happy to make these custom cookies for a good friend whose brother is leaving for Albania!
Book of Mormon cookies:and missionary name tag cookies:Here is the soon-to-be Elder Norris, who reportedly let his family members take one bite each and kept the rest of the cookies for himself. Sounds like a happy customer to me!These cookies were one of the first orders I shipped. I was told every cookie made it from New Mexico to Alabama in perfect condition (whew!)

With the Air Force Base nearby, I've been getting a few requests for jet cookies. Here are two orders: one for an Air Force Reserve party, and the other a thank you gift for friends and family coming from out of town for a Change of Command Ceremony.
